
I did like the characters, especially Jake. Having read the next novel prior to writing this review, I think this book did a better job introducing me to the next dom (Book #4 - Master of the Dark Side). I thought that for a 213-page novel, I should have liked it. A lot of angst and a ton of despair from past experience on behalf of the heroine. I think I was expecting so much more but got a repeat of an intro to BDSM for newbies. The sentence: Death.īook okay, but for a whodunnit, it was weak.
